Joseph Haraburda | President & CEO Joe has held the position of President and CEO of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the largest and most diverse business organization in the East Bay since 1996. Prior to becoming president Joe served on the Chamber board and had a 35 year career in newspaper publishing serving as general manger of the Oakland Tribune, associate publisher and publisher for the Alameda Newspaper Group; senior vice president for The Washington Post Company; director for The Wilmington Journal & Morning News, and senior management positions at The Philadelphia Inquirer and Suburban newspapers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. 510-874-4800 jharaburda@oaklandchamber.com |

Paul Junge | Public Policy Director Paul has been the Public Policy Director of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber since early 2011. Paul monitors State and Local government and speaks out frequently on issues important to business. Prior to his work at the Chamber, Paul was a staff member for a U.S. Senator, a television news anchor and reporter, a deputy district attorney and worked for many years for a government contractor. Eleanor Hollander | Economic Development Director Eleanor is the Economic Development Director of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber. Ms. Hollander coordinates the monthly economic development forum at the chamber and is the liaison to the city regarding a variety of planning and development issues. Prior to her work at the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber, Eleanor was the Program Manager for WPB, the special service area for the Wicker Park and Bucktown neighborhoods in Chicago, IL. Eleanor holds a master’s degree in city and regional planning from U.C. Hank Masler | Director of Communications Oakland Business Review Hank Masler, the Communications Director of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, is responsible for the publishing of “Oakland Business Review,” the Chamber’s monthly newspaper, the organization’s annual Membership Directory & Buyers Guide, and an annual wall calendar. Triche Christmon | Membership DirectorTriche Christmon has held the position of Membership Director since 2008 and she has helped to cultivate relationship that foster companies who want to be good corporate citizens, by helping them to promote commerce in and throughout the city of Oakland. Catherine Brewer | Project Manager & Executive Director of Leadership Oakland Catherine Brewer joined the Chamber in September 2006 as project coordinator for the Oakland Holiday Parade, on which she worked extensively coordinating over 350 volunteers and managing various aspects of the parade for three years. While working as the Project Coordinator, she also took on the role of Executive Director of Leadership Oakland in December 2006, which she continues to do today. Amanda Medina | Operations & Event Coordinator Amanda Medina recently joined the Chamber in May 2011 and has brought operations, event management, and social media experience to the Chamber. She is a 2009 graduate of CSU East Bay, and is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Public Administration. Amanda is responsible for the planning and execution of the Chamber’s major fundraising events. Lana P. Turn | Office Manager Lana P. Turn is the Office Manger and has been with the Oakland Chamber since 2001. Lana has received her B.A. in Purchasing and Materials management from California State University, East Bay in 2008. She organizes and administers the activities that normally occur in any day-to-day in the business office environment.
