The purpose of the Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce is to promote commerce and industry, to advance economic growth, and to enhance the quality of life in the city of Oakland.

Working to build a strong local economy…every day!

The Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, founded on Nov. 17, 1905, challenged the business community then to actively participate in the growth and development of Oakland. Our commitment remains strong; we must continue to join together to emphasis to our Community the importance of strong support for business! 

The Oakland Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce actively work to represent all businesses in 5 key ways!
